Cathedral Canyon Women's Golf Club

CCWGC has adopted the Cathedral City High School Girls Golf Team as their charity. Here, two of the team members and Coach Lisa and CCWGC member and volunteer Dianne Gardner accept this year's donation to the team at our Spring luncheon.

Donated clubs in excess of those we issue to the girls are converted to cash which is put into the scholarship fund. Cash donations are also accepted for this fund. Senior players who are continuing their education beyond high school are awarded $100 for each year they participated on the golf team. Contact Dianne Gardner at 760-324-6378 if you have clubs or golf clothing you would like to donate.
Cathedral Canyon Women’s Golf Club named the Cathedral City High School Girls Golf Team as their charity for the 2022 Member Guest Tournament. Even though the tournament was cancelled, the CCWGC continues to support the Girls Golf Team by donating golf clothes and equipment throughout the year. The girls golf season is August through October each year so donations are always welcome. Many of the girls are new to golf and don’t have golf shorts/skorts. The school gives them golf polo shirts with the team logo, hats, and a logo golf bag for competition. Their golf clubs and the rest of their wardrobe is from donations from CCWCG and Tahquitz and Desert Princess ladies clubs. The girls are allowed to use a pull cart, so we are always looking for donated pull carts. We also try to provide them with a “take home” golf bag and clubs for them to use during the off season.
